Job Description

This role is responsible for providing general property upkeep and cleanliness of the common areas at Scottsdale National Golf Club.  The ideal candidate will be accustomed to working in a highly collaborative and communicative team environment.    

 Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas in club houses, on-course hospitality stations, fitness and spa areas, restrooms and employee areas
  • Interior and exterior upkeep, including cleaning of windows, various surfaces including counter tops, mirrors, doors, hallways, walkways, outdoor furniture and patios as requested
  • Remove debris from common areas, guest villas, driveways and cart paths
  • Emptying/cleaning trash cans and recycling bins, and replacing liners
  • Monitor supply inventory to avoid out of stock situations
  • Assist with housekeeping duties such as evening turn down service as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience and Education: 

  • 2+ years’ experience in housekeeping and/or general property maintenance in a luxury hotel, resort or golf club environment preferred
  • Knowledge of specific cleaning products and equipment to be used on specific surfaces

  • Ability to work as part of a highly collaborative team, and equally effective as an independent contributor
  • Strong communication skills to effectively partner with housekeeping, maintenance and grounds keeping teams
  • Self-motivation, accountable, use of sound judgement, attention to detail, and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Must work well in a team environment and have a positive, can-do attitude
  • Good command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Neat and polished appearance
  • Demonstrated conscientious, confidentiality, honesty, and integrity in all situations
