Job Description

This Facilities Maintenance position is responsible for general building and preventative maintenance/repairs for several areas at Scottsdale National Golf Club including our Clubhouses, Villas, Grounds Maintenance and common areas. The ideal candidate will have familiarity in general maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and/or commercial kitchen equipment repairs, and comfortable working in a highly collaborative and communicative team environment. The hours for this are from 9pm - 7am.


  • Respond to overnight maintenance repairs and requests in a timely and professional manner; escalate high priority/critical situations to broader team as directed
  • Follow Lockout/Tag out Procedures prior to performing maintenance work
  • Ensure interior and exterior lighting is in proper working order throughout the property and complete timely lighting adjustments   
  • Perform preventative maintenance and advanced troubleshooting tasks as directed
  • Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings
  • Resolve safety hazard situations and escalate to manager/MOD when identified 
  • Maintain inventory and requisition parts as needed; proactively manage supply levels to limit out of stock situations 
  • Complete ad-hoc and reoccurring requests 

Education and Experience:

  • One plus years' facilities/building maintenance and/or related experience preferably in a luxury hotel, resort or golf club environment
  • In additional to general maintenance experience, familiarity with general building and/or commercial kitchen repairs, preventative maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and/or carpentry/finishing skills, 

Skills Needed:

  • Dedication to work Third Shift hours from 9pm to 7am
  • Resolve requests in a highly efficient manner with a high level of attention to the details
  • With independent nature of position, possess a high level of self-motivation, accountability, use of sound judgement and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Strong desire to be “part of the solution” in an environment with changing and competing priorities
  • Strong English language skills, and able to speak, read and write in English
