Job Description

This position ensures prompt and polite service to members and invited guests.  Additional responsibilities include:  preparing comfort F&B service stations (opening, cleaning, restocking, and organizing F&B items).  The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service approach and accustomed to working in a highly collaborative and communicative team environment.  Golf knowledge is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains inventory of food and beverage service items for comfort stations
  • Ensures timely service to members and invited guests while on-course 
  • Collaborates and assists kitchen staff with preparing in-house food items for comfort stations and uses proper food handling techniques
  • Creates orders and requisitions for essential supplies
  • Maintains a clean and organized cart for use in transporting food and beverage service items from kitchen areas to comfort stations
  • Ensures proper use and handling of equipment including golf carts, coffee machines, and other appliances and proper refrigeration of items as necessary
  • Proactively maintains a highly sanitary environment for food and beverage consumption and ensures cleanliness of stations throughout the day
  • Completes closing duties such as restocking items, charging golf carts, and collects and returns food and beverage service items to kitchens/proper areas
  • Follows all company and safety and security policies and procedures, including of safety training and certifications; reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
  • Completes other duties as assigned

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Strong passion and commitment to excellence to carry out daily tasks
  • Strong desire to provide exceptional guest service experience
  • Prior retail stocking, merchandising and retail product styling experience highly desired
  • Ability to be highly punctual and work scheduled hours based on business need
  • Neat and polished appearance and ensures uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Strong relationship, communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with co-workers and broader teams in a professional manner
  • Strong desire to cultivate positive working relationships, supports team to reach common goals, and listens and responds appropriately to the concerns of others
  • Ability to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats
