Job Description

This position is responsible for managing the Human Resources function at Scottsdale National Golf Club located in NE Scottsdale. The ideal candidate will have a high-touch approach to providing effective HR service in a hospitality environment and accustomed to working in a highly communicative and collaborate team environment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on HR support to employees and managers with a “walk the halls” approach to establish strong relationships 
  • Perform full cycle recruiting for all exempt, nonexempt and seasonal workers: source, interview and partner with hiring managers on candidate selection and complete offer process including reference and background checks 
  • Orient new employees and ensure strong understanding of team approach and work environment expectations
  • Work closely with corporate HR team to ensure consistent delivery of company-wide programs and practices
  • Assist managers with employee relations situations; provide advice and resolution in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Provide performance management guidance to managers and employees with a focus on positive coaching, counseling, and development
  • Identify training needs and develop action plans to support employee development and foster an environment of continuous learning 
  • Monitor morale and create action plans to continually promote strong employee engagement
  • Complete HR operational aspects in a timely manner including input into ADP Workforce Now, I-9/E-Verify duties, and Workers'Compensation reporting and maintenance with federal and state regulations 

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience with strong recruiting focus and knowledge of Federal and State regulations
  • ADP Workforce Now highly preferred
  • Previous experience in a hospitality and/or luxury hotel/resort environment is highly desirable
