Job Description

The Member Services Attendant is responsible for assisting members and guests with various requests related to their visit, and for providing information about Scottsdale National Golf Club and the surrounding places of interest while providing exceptional service in a highly collaborative and communicative team environment.


  • Checks in members and guests in an efficient and friendly manner, ensures room assignments are in accordance with preferences and accurate rate is charged; arranges for luggage delivery, issues keys and delivers messages as necessary
  • Checks out members and guests at end of stay; ensures guest satisfaction, collects keys, posts charges and presents bill when requested  
  • Processes guest charges via credit card or member billing as necessary
  • Acts as front line contact and resolution specialist for special requests, inquiries, information, directions, and/or complaints in a timely, professional and courteous manner
  • Utilizes a variety of computer systems to check guests in and out; runs daily reports and selects and block rooms for arriving guests
  • Confirms guest reservations, changes and cancellations
  • Provides rate quotes and is familiar with room and rate availability for current and future dates
  • Presents room options and offers suggestions as necessary
  • Understands room status and corresponding tracking
  • Other duties as assigned

 Experience and Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • 3 years’ previous customer service and/or hospitality experience preferably in a high-end hotel, resort or club
  • Knowledge of Guest Service Operations

  • Strong passion, commitment to excellence and true service heart to carry out daily tasks
  • Strong desire to provide excellent guest service experience
  • Knowledge of PMS systems preferred
  • Must have strong command of the English language, and able to speak, read and write in English
  • Flexible approach, based on business demand, and willingness to work in an environment of constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Possess a high level of self-motivation, accountability, and willingness to do, and learn, what it takes to get the job done
